Jeremiah's Italian Ice

Jeremiah's Italian Ice is a thriving Italian ice and dessert company with three stores in the Orlando area. Since 1996 Jeremiah's has been serving up Italian Ice, Gelati's, soft-serve ice cream, and other tasty treats to a loyal customer base and has received numerous accolades and recognitions. What started is a simple push-cart enterprise in downtown Orlando has blossomed into one of the top selling dessert companies in the state of Florida. Jeremiah's is also activiely involved in the local community, sponsoring charity events, donating ice to local schools and organizations, and promoting an energetic, family-oriented lifestyle in all of the company's stores.

What We Did

FiveSeven Studios was retained to design and develop a creative web presence to showcase the growing Jeremiah's brand. During the process a great relationship was built between the FiveSeven staff and the Jeremiah's gang, and over lots of coffee many ideas were thrown around, and plans were made for much more than just a website. FiveSeven has partnered with Jeremiah's to develop a systematic, aggressive branding campaign to help the company increase brand recognition, customer loyalty, and franchise growth.

Phase 1 of the process is now complete with the launch of one of our favorite websites we've ever created. The Jeremiah's website was built in Flash and features a variety of interactive elements including the Jeremiah's Drink Mixing Station where users can mix and create their own Jeremiah's creations for chances to win free Italian Ice. We also created an interactive online ordering process where users can customize and process orders for Party Buckets and Pre-Packaged Variety Packs. All of the content featured on the Jeremiah's website is dynamically generated from a custom-built Content Management System (CMS), and over 5 MySQL databases which hold the dynamic content.

We also built a full HTML/CSS backing site to help with search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, as well as provide usability solutions for users without Flash or Javascript-compatible browsers. Finally the site features a variety of custom forms including general contact forms, suggestion box, J-List signup, rate your server, and franchise requests.

In addition to the web design and development, we also created a variety of custom illustrations and promotional collateral to help with the online branding and marketing efforts.

What's to Come

While we can't tell you too much, we will say that you haven't seen anything yet. The Jeremiah's website is just the first piece of the puzzle, and we're so excited about the upcoming Jeremiah's branding projects.
